The 7th annual NorCal Jamboree was a remarkable event, it has consistently featured players who have gone on to become college stars – Natalie Hampton (Oregon State); Danielle O’Toole (Arizona); Marjani Knighten (Nebraska); Gabby Maurice (UCLA); Tyler Walker (Minnesota); Ali Aguilar (Washington); Nikki Udria (Oregon). And there are many others, such as PGF HS All-Americans Maddy Nickles (UCLA) and Nicole Bates (Washington), who have also made their first recruiting splash at the NorCal Jamboree and will certainly be impact players as freshmen at their respective schools.

This year was no different, as we had a number of excellent performances on the day. 2017 MI Karlee Sparacino put on a show in the hitting workout, launching several out of the park and one into the middle of the street just beyond the right field fence at Arnaiz. 2018 slapper/hitter Aleya Rath showcased her offensive skills, and since this was Aleya’s first ever recruiting event, she is certainly on the lists of many schools today. Catcher Megan Otsuka displayed high level talent as a receiver with excellent pop times and high level athleticism. And finally, Kiana Parrish had a huge day both at the plate and in the defensive session. Kiana should be recruited by most of the D-1 schools in California along with others across the country.

2019 pitchers Blake Craft and Iyanla Pennington both displayed the talent that will make them very interesting to most of the D-1 world. Both players have the size and athleticism that college coaches covet to go along with solid talent.  2020 MI Mariah Rodriguez put on a show both offensively and defensively. We have watched Mariah grow over the past several years, and she is certainly going to be one of NorCal’s best players in this class. Also in this class P/1B Kassidy Millar showed why she has a chance to be a star out of the Northwest in the years ahead.

Finally, Isabella Calvo, Acacia Anders, Tristyn Guevara, Paige Sinicki, and Jorday Woolery are all very intriguing prospects. Woolery is a 7th grader with excellent size, strength, and athleticism to go along with a solid skill set both offensively and defensively. Calvo, Anders, Guevara, and Sinicki all are young athletes who can simply play.

We would like to thank several people who have made this possible over the years. Longtime NorCal travel ball coaches Dennis Gomes and Bob Regpala, we could never have had the success we have had without their help. Also, we have to acknowledge John Furman, the manager of Arnaiz Park. John is just one of the best people we know in NorCal, and we always enjoy seeing him each and every year. We really appreciate the help and friendship we have had with these three gentlemen that has spanned over a decade! And a final thank you should be extended to all the athletes and parents who joined us on this special day.
