We want to thank Sean Hall and the others with the Midwest Speed program for their help in getting this together. Joe Kanz and Michael Jamieson must also be thanked for their fungo and BP work.

A surprising number of players will be offered spots to either the Colorado Jamboree or the Chicago Jamboree. The level of play in the Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin areas just continues to improve each and every year. We had some excellent performances from a number of players. 2019 pitcher Mia Kraimer and 2018 pitcher Morgan DeMarais were impressive during their bull pen session, both threw it in the lower 60s. 2018 Kelsey Kannenberg has decided to step away from pitching and concentrate on hitting and playing 1B, that is a very wise move for this talented young player. And finally, I would like to mention a young 6th grader, Sydney Schwartz, who just needs a year or two of development before she blossoms into a very good prospect.

As with all our Tryouts, we want to remind both parents and players that the recruiting process is a journey that unfolds differently for every player. Be patient and let the process work and a good decision will ultimately be made.

Listed below are the selected players, they will be invited to both the Colorado Jamboree and the Chicago Jamboree, invitations will be sent mid-May. If there is different Jamboree you are interested in attending, please email us, but there are no guarantees. All invitations are sent via email to the address provided in registration, unless otherwise requested. Please add info@ondecksoftball.net to your contacts to ensure you get the invitation.

*If you weren't selected, don't be discouraged, we would like to see how you progress and improve. Please email your travel ball schedule to info@ondecksoftball.net

Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. They are also just a portion of the Tryout selection process, for more information read Your Tryout & ODM Numbers. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively. For the younger players, please look at this as a baseline and what to start working on, as you grow and get stronger and quicker these numbers will improve.
