Looking forward to the Fall

The Fall is one of our favorite seasons of the year. Fall is also very special to us because of our line-up of Elite Recruiting events. We just finished the NorCal Jamboree, and I will write more about that later. But looming in two weeks is the FINAL TRYOUT OPPORTUNITY FOR 2014! Our Phoenix Tryout will be held on Saturday, the 20th of September and Sunday, the 21st of September. No other Tryouts will be held until after the end of the Fall Softball Season. But oh, is the Phoenix Tryout an important one. Players in the Phoenix Tryout will be in play for four of the bigger Elite Recruiting Events on our calendar, including the two most important and prestigious events of the year. Just under 4 weeks after the Phoenix Tryout, the West Coast National Elite Camp will be held at Mt. SAC in Walnut, CA. The West Coast National Elite Camp is widely recognized as the most single most important recruiting event on the calendar, and one WCWS Champion coach has called those two days "the two most important recruiting days of the year." Immediately following is the Texas Jamboree, that will be held in conjunction with the Ronald McDonald Showcase in Houston. There is little doubt that the Texas Jamboree is going to become a premier OnDeck Event in the years to come.

In early November, we will head out to Atlanta for the East Coast National Elite Camp that will be held once again at Georgia Gwinnett College. The East Coast National Elite Camp is rapidly taking its rightful place alongside the established West Coast National Elite Camp, and this year we will be excited to see many of the very best players in the South once again showing their stuff. And finally, one week later, we will finish the Fall with the Arizona Jamboree that will be held in the Phoenix area on November 14th. This will be our fifth Arizona Jamboree, and that event just keeps growing each and every year.

So, it is going to be a fun and busy time for OnDeck Softball and OnDeck Measurements in the months to come. We are excited and looking forward to connecting some great players with some great college programs. But it all starts now with the Tryout in Phoenix on the 20th and 21st. If you can, we hope you will make it for one of those dates, and then perhaps you will have the chance to participate in one of the four fall events in the OnDeck lineup.
