Our last summer event, the 2022 Alliance Jamboree, was held at one of our favorite venues, Rosetta Canyon. Right out of the gate, I would like to thank the Alliance, Travis from TCS, and Rosetta Canyon Parks supervisor, Eric. Whenever we deal with them, things always seem so easy and effortless. It is really nice to know that if we put together a great group of people, the rest will fall into place.

This was really fun day and a new adventure for us. So what was different? Well we signed some NIL deals with some very special former OnDeck players who now play collegiately. Middle infielders Anna Vines (UCLA), Rylee Holtorf (Washington), and Paige Sinicki (Oregon). Catcher Kendal Kates (Michigan State). As well as one of the best hitters in the game, OF/Inf Ellessa Bonstrom (Utah).

As Anna put it so well when she agreed to help us out . . . “this feels like a full circle moment!” And she was so right. All five of these players attended OnDeck events years ago, and it was an special moment when we got the opportunity to introduce them to the players and their parents. The college players did an amazing job interacting and working with the young players. Getting to know them and asking questions during the hitting warm-up, as well as during a Q&A  session. Then really getting to work with them defensively in the afternoon. It proved to be a good experience for everyone involved.

As for the girls in the Jamboree, we had a number of very good players. 2024 middle infielder Monica Chavez had a solid day and we can’t wait to hear how her recruiting story goes this Fall.

2025 3B Kylee Espinoza and OF Aamya Harrison showed solid offensive fundamentals. Both are athletes who have a chance to be very good hitters at the next level. And both were very good defensively at their respective positions.

2026 C Isabella Moussa from the Williamsburg Starz had a fabulous day. And she followed up her impressive performance at OnDeck by winning the 14U Alliance Home Run Derby later that evening.

One real surprise was 2027 SS Brooklyn Hart. A very athletic young player, and she showed some real talent. While she needs keep working on her skill set both offensively and defensively, has the talent to be a major recruit a few years from now.

Thank you to all the college coaches, players, parents, and travel ball coaches who have helped make the summer of 2022 a very special one. We will now begin to focus on our Fall schedule, and planning for a great Summer 2023!
