We held our 4th annual Alliance Jamboree at the Grand Park in Westfield, IN. Thank you to Michael and Josh from Bullpen for hosting the camp at their beautiful facility. We would also like to thank David McCorkle, Jami Lobpries, and all the Alliance coaches who helped us with this event. To put it simply, we had a blast with this group of players, and we've enjoyed watching them play this week.

If you haven’t been to Grand Park, the host site for the 2024 Alliance Fastpitch Champion Series, then you are missing out on a wonderful venue. It is massive and immaculate with beautiful turf/grass fields. The communities of Westfield, Carmel, and Kokomo are proving to be wonderful hosts. The weather has been great! We are hearing rave reviews from all those in attendance this year. And it is shaping up to be a great National tournament.

As for the Alliance Jamboree, we had a very solid group of players roll through the camp. All of them will be college players if they just keep working. And they will play at a variety of schools. Some are destined for D1 WCWS schools without question. Others may choose different paths. But all the players showed talent levels that will translate well to the D1 level down the road. I would like to mention a few players for special performances on the day.

2026 Oklahoma pitchers Keegan Baker and Kennedy Allen were exceptional. Both throw in the mid-60s. Keegan can get it up to 65 and has great movement, particularly with a devastating screwball that breaks on two planes. Kennedy is a lefty who can really spin it at a consistent velocity in the 63 mph range. Her curve breaks hard, down, and late – all of which are good traits in a pitch. Also 2028 P/OF Isabella Benton showed well as a hitter, pitcher, and fielder. This young athlete is destined for stardom if she keeps working.

We had a good list of hitters in all the classes – Brooklyn Wells, Madison Page, Isabella Sierra, Kyler Edelen, Mia West, Angelina Cole, Eliza Shamrell, Saylor Hinkson, Hope Gilmore, and Reese Grudzielanek just to name a few. There were too many to just list right here, but suffice it to say that hitting was a strength for this camp.

Of special note, I’d like to mention players from the Williamsburg Starz. 2026 middle infielders Kyndall Banks and Ryleigh Perks showed solid skill sets both offensively and defensively. More specifically, they showed dazzling skills with the gloves at SS. I can’t imagine a better duo to play SS and 2B than these two. They cover well. They have great hands. They have good arms. Over the years we have rightly heard so much about Starz pitching. Well these two young infielders are going to be high level defenders at the next level. 2026 OF Lydia Anderson is a gamer. She can hit and covers well in the outfield.

And finally I’d like to mention Grace Mazzola, another 2026 SS who can just play the game. Grace has all the tools, and she is going to be a monster hitter. Several coaches in attendance were wowed by her skill sets and her vast potential. It will be fun to follow Grace’s progress over the next few years.

We will look forward to following all the players who attended the 2024 Alliance Jamboree. Thanks to all the families who were with us on this day. Thanks to the Bullpen group who hosted us.

Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.
