A very successful Sunday Jamboree was followed the next day with the Monday Jamboree. . . and it turned into a monster event. A tremendous group of coaches were in attendance, including most of the schools who only a few weeks prior had been competing in the Women’s College World Series.  Over the years, the Colorado Jamboree has always turned out to be very good, but this year it brought back memories of the old days. Back when the recruiting rules and calendar were slightly different, and when CoVid was nothing anyone had heard about. So needless to say, we were excited.

We were very pleased by the play of a number of players. We could never list all those who showed well. There would be too many. But there were some special performances.

Two pitchers, 2025 Gracie Ream and 2026 Ayla Tuua were simply outstanding. Both these young ladies have a chance to be high major recruits. Gracie has been on our radar forever, and we have seen her grow and develop as a player. She combines good velocity, solid spin, and gritty competitiveness. She competes like crazy. Ayla throws gas, touching 70 mph. But she is far more than that. She has good, emerging spin and high level athleticism. Both players can swing the bat. And both will be pursued by the top colleges in the country.

In the catcher group, 2025 Chloe Ream, Gracie’s twin sister, and 2026 Brooklyn Paratore were just great. Chloe just keeps getting better and better. Not only are her catching skills high level, but she is a student of the game. And she can hit! Brooklyn, who is already part of the USA Jr. National pool, is just really good. She is a good catcher and a great hitter. If both these young ladies keep working and developing they will be playing at a high college level in a few years.

When it comes to the position players, there were lots who are solid defensivley and swing the bat. 2025 OF Chloe Bedwell is going to be a dynamic hitter at the next level.  She is an ideal top of the line-up hitter. 2025 SS Jadyn Scott is a classic hitter. She will hit for a high average and some power numbers at the next level. 2027 OF Morgan Carlson is just a sweet offensive player. Combining excellent mechanics with a great eye. She will probably be hitting in the middle of any line-up in which she is appearing. And finally 2028 SS Brooklyn Hart displayed a startling sophisticated game both offensively and defensively. Brooklyn has a chance to be really good if she continues to work and develop her games as she gets older.

After two days of Jamborees, we spent the rest of the week watching games and scouting players for the future. It was a great week of softball for us, and we can’t wait for next year!
