One of our favorite events of the year unfolded in Colorado at the Aurora Sports Park. The Colorado Jamborees have been going since 2014, and Triple Crown Sports assists us in the endeavor. We want to thank Dave King and his group for all their help each and every year. We have so many great memories of these events, that it is exciting to drive up to the park each year.
This year was memorable. We had a large group of college coaches, and the group of players held up well. We appreciate all the families who attended and participate is a week plus of softball.
There are a few special performances that need to be mentioned. 2024 P/2B Raegen Everett showed solid velocity and good spins. 2024 hitters Paige Abrames (3B), Jamisyn Albin (OF), and Emma Dow (SS) have solid fundamentals and the ability to really swing the bat. All four of these athletes should ultimately surface at solid DI programs. The 2025 class featured a group of hitting prospects whose phones have a real chance of ringing on September 1st. C Tanzie Smith, 2B Bella Douglas, 2B Shyann Banasky, 2B Claire Yates, and 1B Emma Willers have potential to be good college hitters.
And finally for 2026s and 2027s. Headlining this group is Iowa Premier phenom 2027 Juliana Hutchens (3B/C). This young lady has a chance to be special. One college coach said she left the camp and immediately downloaded some videos so she could watch her swing. Juliana has power. She will hit for average. And she is very good defensively. 2026 P Sammi Boggs showed why she is one of the best on the West Coast. Combining 63+ mph velocity with good spin and pin-point command makes for a good pitcher. Add to that a bulldog tough mentality, and you have quite a talent. And finally Peyton Bryant (2027 C) displayed an excellent offensive game, coupled with very good defense.
