In it’s 7th year, the June Jamboree continues to be an excellect way to kickoff the summer recruiting season. A HUGE contingent of college coaches showed up. The players themselves played very, very well throughout the day and held up well under the very tough and intense circumstances.

There are a number of players we would like to recognize for their outstanding play. 2018s Briona Rance and Presley Miraglia had excellent days. Briona is a great hitter who could hit at the college level right now. Presley is a unique talent, a solid pitcher and a capable position player. Both are destined for great things in their careers. 2019s Celestina Senini and Elysabeth Porter displayed an incredible level of athleticism along with solid skill sets that will allow them to become major recruits very soon. Celestina can just play the game and Elysabeth oozes with potential. 2020s Jennifer Cummings and Harleigh Braswell are going to have many, many options in the next few months. Jennifer has one of the sweetest swings we have seen and she can flat out hit. Harleigh is a tough, hard-nosed player who can hit it deep and competes like crazy. And Kailee Luschar, a 2020 middle infielder who will be able to play at the highest level if she continues to work.

Finally some of the younger players and wow there was a host of high level talent in this group. Certainly, far too many to name, but 2021 Paige Dimler and 2022 Jocelyn Erickson showed why they will be recruited by schools across the country. Paige is a legit outfielder who can run and get it. Jocelyn is just wise and talented beyond her years. We will be excited to see how they progress and what lies ahead.

Several coaches are quick to claim that the June Jamboree is the most important recruiting day of the year and we heartily agree. We have heard from a large number of players who have been contacted regarding the player’s recruitment. These are exciting times for players, families, and OnDeck Softball as we continue to connect talented players and prospective college programs.

We also want to thank Dave King and Triple Crown Sports for their help and we appreciate the partnership with TCS for this Jamboree.

Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.
