The Midwest Elite Camp has been one of the most important recruiting events on the Fall calendar for coaches all over the country. Each year, some of the best players in the region put on a show at the Rosemont Dome. Whether it was Montana Fouts (Alabama). Peyton St. George (Duke). Taylor Minnick (Indiana). The Midwest Elite Camp has always produced big time players who go on to successful college, pro, and National Team careers.
And this year, a new group of potential stars showed up. The pitching group was superb. The position players were excellent. We had a solid group of hitters. And the camp produced the greatest Allister Index ODM® has ever tested – Addison Lucht (2026 OF/SS). Addison produced a 112.16 Allister Index, with a 77 mph throwing velocity. Breaking a record of 110.99 set by Amayah Doyle (Tennessee signee). In addition, 2026 P Reese Mosolino broke the grip strength record with a grip of 155 psi. That is amazing and crazy strong.
There are far too many great players to mention here. However, several need to be highlighted. The sole 2024 player was SS Chloe Christie (Mission 18U Nationals). Chloe obviously has not received the looks she deserves. She is solid offensively and defensively.
In the 2025 class, outfielders Megan Piotrowski (Sparks Premier) and Anna Carlson (Turnin2) were excellent. Malia Bucksath SS (Lady Sluggers) was superb as well. Malia has a complete game and could really help most DI schools.
2026 SS Jayden Kleiner (IN Magic) can flat out just play the game. She is really good offensively, and spectacular defensively. Additionally, Reese Mosolino P (IN Magic), Grace Swedarsky P (IN Magic), Cheyenne Burge 3B (Lady Sluggers), Hayden Sujack C (Chicago Cheetahs), Hunter Lewis P/Hitter (Chicago Cheetahs), Tegan Tripp 3B (IL Chill), Ana Cisek SS (Sparks Premier), and Dionne Owens OF/2B (Sparks Premier) should be high on every coaches list to call next fall. The class of 2026 was well represented.
Grace and Reese are high level pitching prospects. Reese is a high velocity pitcher with a heavy down-ball. Grace has the ability to throw a low rise for a strike. Both are Power 5 prospects if they just keep working. Cheyenne is just a player, with a solid game both offensively and defensively. Hayden is a heavy hitting catcher with good potential as a receiver. Hunter put on a show offensively. Hitting off the left side, Hunter just mashes the ball with a short, compact stroke that is going to translate well to the next level. Tegan, Ana, and Dionne are just really good. All of them can really swing it and also defend.
And finally the classes of 2027 and 2028. We have to mention two 2027 IL Chill players – Erin Ryan C, Madison Such P/3B. Erin can just flat-out hit and hits it deep. Madison is an excellent high velocity pitcher with an array of spins and pin-point control. She also is really good at 3B. 2027 IN Magic C/3B Madison Wainwright has a chance to be a big-time DI player. Madison is oozing with potential. 2028 Chill OF Taylor Purchas is a gifted hitter who can run and cover in the OF. 2028 St. Louis Chaos SS Makenna Johnson is a gifted hitter and defender. We will be anxious to follow all these young prospects.
A huge thank you has to be given to all the players, parents, and college coaches who made this a very special Midwest Elite Camp. We also want to send a big thank you to Ben Robles who went above and beyond normal duty and hit three straight rounds of fungo for us. Ben is talented with the bat, and just a really good guy. We will look forward to seeing many of you in the near future.
