The second OTE of 2018 – took place at Arnaiz Park in Stockton, CA. Along with the SoCal OTE, this new event proved to be an exciting place for athletes to showcase their skill sets and athleticism in front of the college coaches.

Over 35 coaches were on hand to watch the 312 uncommitted athletes perform. The Sorcerer organization had a very strong showing behind the play of Olivia Silvestre, Gabby Williams, and Jenissa Conway. Also showing well were the two Northwest Bullet teams coached by Dennis Muir and Tony Campos.  The Bullets are one of the finest travel ball programs in the country, and their strength and athleticism were on full display over the two days. Emma Babbitt was superb in all phases of the game, and Georgia Corey and Delaney Keith showed the ability to hit it very, very deep and very often. All-American Sports Acadamy’s 2020 Riley Grigsby and 2021 Kedre Luschar showed why they are two of NorCal’s best in their classes. And finally 2019 Catcher Destiny Quiles put on a show in live BP driving pitch after pitch out of the park. Many others also had outstanding performances and once again this showed the depth of talent that exists in the NorCal softball community.

Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.
