We want to thank Sean Hall who runs the Midwest Speed Organization for all his help. We could never do what we do up there without his friendship and his help. We also want to thank all the players and families who attended the Tryout.

We saw some very good players, including 2022 Sydney Schwarz is just going to be a special player in the years to come if she keeps working on her game,  2021 Grace O’Brien has a chance to play at a high level with natural growth and maturity and 2020 Angela Dye who plays SS and OF will just continue to get better in the years ahead. As is the case in most years, we are always impressed with the athleticism and toughness with these players. The level of play in this area of the country continues to improve each and every year.

We also are excited to see how many of you are taking the TAP assessment that we talked about during the tryout. That is going to be a new frontier in the sport, and we are excited to help you all have a leg up an all your competition. Learn more HERE or TAKE THE TEST NOW

As with all our Tryouts, we want to remind both parents and players that the recruiting process is a journey that unfolds differently for every player. Be patient and let the process work and a good decision will ultimately be made. If you weren't selected, don't be discouraged, we would like to see how you progress and improve. Please email your travel ball schedule to info@ondecksoftball.net

Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. They are also just a portion of the Tryout selection process, for more information read Your Tryout & ODM Numbers. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.
