We would like to start by thanking Bill Marrow and the Wasco Diamonds for hosting the tryout. We also want to thank Jordan, Megan, and Joe for their help during the tryout. We have know Bill for years and are happy to work with him in Chicago.
As for the players, we want to highlight a few. One player that really stood out was 2025 Madison Werner. She is strong and athletic. She shows solid power potential at the plate. 2026 Alexa Iwema has a great swing that produces major power. Coupled with a huge arm and good glove skills. And finally, 2027 Delilah Kincaid who was great at 3B.
With all tryouts, we want to remind players to keep working on both sides of the ball. Get stronger and more athletic. The game is getting faster at all levels. This was a fun group of players. They were energetic, nice young ladies.

Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. They are also just a portion of the Tryout selection process, for more information read Your Tryout & ODM Numbers. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.
These numbers have also been posted to your profile. An Allister Index is not given with Tryout ODM numbers.
