We want to start by thanking Zion Lutheran Church and Louie Villanueva for all their help with this tryout. We have gone to Zion for the last few years. And we really appreciate Louie’s enthusiasm and hard work prepping the field and mowing the outfield grass.
2025 C/OF Taelor Walker showed real potential both offensively and defensively. 2026 Elysse Diaz is a very good hitter with power potential off the left side. 2026 OF/UT Jocelyn Alatorre is a dynamic athlete with good speed and quickness. Jocelyn is a very good slapper and is very capable of swinging away and driving the ball. Finally 2026 MI Cheri Thompson showed a very developed skill set.
On Sunday, we welcomed a full house with many good players. Right off the bat, we have to mention 6th grader Taylor Campbell (MI) who competed very well. 2025 twins Dylan and Reagan Kunkle showed very well. Both have the size and athleticism that coaches look for. Add in their sophisticated skill set, and the twins have a bright future in the game. 2025 OF Marisa Dominguez was very good both with the bat and outfield. She understands the angles needed in the OF and strong arm.

The Rosetta Canyon Jamboree, Colorado Jamboree, and July Jamboree invitations have been sent. Fall Report Camp invitations will be sent July 8th. They are also just a portion of the Tryout selection process, for more information read Your Tryout & ODM Numbers. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.
