We followed the Colorado Sunday Jamboree with an amazing Colorado Monday Jamboree. Another large contingent of exceptional players turned out to showcase their skills sets in front of a large group of college coaches. The coaches weren’t disappointed as the pitchers led off the hitting groups and showed some pitchers really can swing the bat. 2027 Mackenzie Templeton was one of the first hitters, and the Nacogdoches, Texas athlete showed real potential with the bat. Nacogdoches is home to Stephen F. Austin State University, a smaller DI school in the Southland Conference. SFA and Nacogdoches were also home to the Allister family back in the day. Along with Mackenzie, pitchers Kaleah McCarter (2028), Alivia Ramon (2029), Remington Spangler (2029), Hannah Louis (2029), Kendall Bunch (2029), Jaycee McCarter (2029), Haley Schmitt (2029), Madelyn Benzler (2029), and Elle Beausoleil (2029) all looked really good swinging the bat.

This group looked really good in the circle as well, particularly the young, high velocity ones who were just bringing it. Sisters Kaleah and Jaycee McCarter, and Madelyn Benzler dialed it up into the mid 60s. Jaycee Kemp and Alivia Ramon easily hit 66 mph. And finally there was Gianna Alejandro. While short in stature, this 2030 prospect drew everyone’s attention when she effortlessly hit 65 mph. The ball darts around showing very sophisticated spins and command.

As for the hitters, 2026 outfielders Kelsie Domenighini and Charlotte White are going to make some college coaches very happy. Kelsie is a power hitting run producer. Charlotte is a slapper who can swing away and drive it out of the park. She will be a very effective offensive threat. 2027 catcher Ryleigh Hall was impressive as well. She is going to be a middle of the line-up run producer at the next level. Also 2027 hitters Aaliyah Mosqueda, Charli Moreno, Taylor Sansaver, Alexis Mujica, and Grace Lombardi all deserve the utmost recognition for their high level play. Likewise in the 2028 class - Catcher/1B Madeline Bittman proved herself to be a sure-fire power hitting prospect. Joining her in this class of exceptional hitters was Logan Paredes, Anna Plotke, Siena Balistreri, A’nasia Williams, Arielle Henriquez, Kaela Moffett, Kiki Diaz, Aliana Basto, and Maddie Mulcahy. Needless to say, the 2028 class is going to be a talented national class. And finally in the class of 2029 we have to mention a few players who made their national debut – Amara Okafor, Kathalina Garcia, Kinslee Buck, Peyton Knight, Kathryn Carr, Aubrey Lewis, Leanna Holguin, Ava Pacheco, Kendrick Jobe, and Aspen Walker. What an amazing group of young hitters!

Lastly, I need to mention two big time 2027 players, Emma Reynolds (AZ Rising) and Zaliyah Jones (Power Surge). Both of these talented athletes will have their choice of schools when all is said and done. Both are outstanding athletes who score a consistently high Allister Index. Both play SS. Both are superb hitters, superb defenders, and tough, strong competitors. They are truly 5-tool players who could play at the highest level of college softball right now.

Thanks again to Triple Crown’s Dave and Kerry King, along with head of TCS Fastpitch Krista Judge, for their friendship and help in making Colorado Monday Jamboree one of the premier softball recruiting events in the country.
