It is always good to see Arizona players since the talent level in is so high. Good softball is being played across the state, and we are always amazed by some of the players who turn out. This year was no different. There were a number of players who did very well, but we have to mention a group of young middle infielders who are sure to be highly recruited when their time comes.

2024s Tawnie Mozeris, Gracie Goerke, and Molly Brunell all showed well both offensively and defensively; and look to be promising prospects for playing SS at the next level. Ruby Laws-Albano was solid offensively and looked good at 2B, in the OF, and behind the plate. Add to them 2023s Tayo Chouinard, a tough and accomplished defender, Sage VanDemark, who just oozes potential, and Quinn Lenz, a smooth defender and solid slapper.

We want to thank all the players and parents who joined us for this tryout, it was a lot of fun. If you were not selected, please don't be discouraged. We want to see you play again and we will be out scouting games during the spring and summer. Please keep us updated on your tournament and game schedules and email them to info@ondecksoftball.net

Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. They are also just a portion of the Tryout selection process, for more information read Your Tryout & ODM Numbers. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.

These numbers have also been posted to your profile. An Allister Index is not given with Tryout ODM numbers.

Email ODM at kj@odmtesting.com if you have any questions about the ODM Numbers.
