Held at a new venue for us, Heron Landing Park, and it was great. Not only was it spacious, but the playing surface was firm and fast. And there was plenty of playground equipment and space for the siblings to run around and play. It was fun. And finally the weather was superb. We had two beautiful days with nothing but a breeze. All in all it was a great two days.
We had a number of outstanding performances. On Saturday, 2023's SS Gator Robinson, 1B/P Kyndal Todd, SS Hailey Stripling, and 2B Jaidyn Pinnegar all played superbly. All four are solid athletically and possess outstanding skill sets both offensively and defensively. Also, 2024 Emma Falen showed some real talent as a hitter and has a chance to be a solid offensive player at the next level. On Sunday, 2021 Utlilty Aaliyah Jenkins had an eye-popping performance. She can catch, play SS, and outfiled. Add to the fact that she displays great tools as a hitter, and you have as close to a “can’t miss” prospect as we see. We also have to mention, 2021 P/1B Lexie Duran, a strong, athletic, and intense player. A group of 2022s caught our eye, including 2022 C Elizabeth Moffitt was outstanding behind the plate and also is very solid offensively. SS Tayler Biehl and OF Ariana Ruiz had outstanding days. Both gifted athletes with excellent skill sets. P Kelly Zybura showed excellent spin and real potential in the circle, she can also play a little 1B and a solid outfield, so she could be a very valuable addition to many teams at the next level. And rounding out the players in that class who really stood out was C/3B Olivia Robison, who is a well rounded player.

Listed below are the players selected and the invitations they are guaranteed. It is important to know that all players were considered for all Jamborees. The Huntington Beach Jamboree, Rosetta Canyon Jamboree and Colorado Jamboree invitations will go out April 4th. All invitations are sent via email to the address provided in registration, unless otherwise requested. Please add info@ondecksoftball.net to your contacts to ensure you get the invitation. Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. They are also just a portion of the Tryout selection process, for more information read Your Tryout & ODM Numbers. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.

Player evaluations are available for purchase for two weeks after the Tryout ($20/player). Evaluations take about a week to be written and formatted from the date of purchase. All evaluations will be emailed to the address provided. If you are interested in a detailed tryout evaluation:
