We dodged most of the rain and ultimately had a great day. We want to thank Tony Delgado for allowing us to use the field at Bihop Amat HS. The field was in great shape even with high school season and the recent rain. We also want to thank Tony Rosales who trek to hit fungo and threw front toss for us. We appreciate his efforts. And he is good with the bat, so that’s always nice.
We also want to thank all the players and parents for attending and hanging out with the atypical Southern California weather. All the players were so nice and very energetic to start the day. That always makes for a good day!
It is important to remember that in all tryouts we are looking for skill sets and athleticism. We do it this way to make sure an athlete can hold her own in the Jamboree or National Camp setting. I want to encourge all the players to continue to work hard on developing their throwing mechanics and improving their arm strength. If the skill sets of the player can hold up under the rigor of an OnDeck workout, and the prospect is athletic enough to match the athleticism of the other players, then we are good to go. It is our feeling that attending coaches will find that athlete intriguing enough to follow and evaluate on their own.
Please keep us updated on your tournament and game schedules and email them to info@ondecksoftball.net. And we look forward to watching you play sometime this summer.
Listed below are the players selected and the invitations they are guaranteed. It is important to know that players were considered for all Jamborees. If you were not selected, keep working on your skill set and athleticism. Do not be discouraged. We want to do what is best for you and help you be successful on the softball field.

Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. They are also just a portion of the Tryout selection process, for more information read Your Tryout & ODM Numbers. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.
These numbers have also been posted to your profile. An Allister Index is not given with Tryout ODM numbers. For questions about ODM numbers, email kj@odmtesting.com
