We would like to start by thanking Coach Amy Hogue and the University of Utah for help with this tryout. It was an awesome experience, even on such a hot day! Coach Hogue is a friend going back many, many years and it was so kind of her to host our tryout. Although she could not be there because of recruiting rules, we caught up while setting up. The Utah Tryout was rescheduled back in May because of snow, then held it on a very hot June day. It was a day that showcased players from various travel ball teams and grad years.
We would also like to acknowledge a group of younger players that participated, 2028s Kendra Hintze, Sydni Miller, Alex Navares, and 2030 Madison Welsh. As pitchers and catchers, these are highly skilled positions that take lots of time to develop and play at a high level. You all have plenty of time to refine your skill set, get stronger, and more athletic, but you have to keep working.

The Colorado Jamboree and Alliance invitations have been sent. All invitations are sent via email to the address provided in registration, unless otherwise requested. Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. They are also just a portion of the Tryout selection process, for more information read Your Tryout & ODM Numbers. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.
These numbers have also been posted to your profile. An Allister Index is not given with Tryout ODM numbers.
